Deepening into Midline, Combining Biodynamic and Biomechanical, and Working with Lungs

DATES TBA

Richmond, CA

Day 1 - Deepening into Midline

Midline - What's the big whoop, how can we sense it more, and who knew there was more than one?! We will explore various aspects of midline and its relevance in our work via guided meditation, movement and hands-on, and go further into embryology of midline(s).

Day 2: Lungs

Someone asked me, "Why lungs?" To which I responded, "Well, because I'm really interested in them right now, LOVE working with them, and they're really really important!" Plus, I feel we can do much needed and effective work with the lungs. Many people need it. It can be so beneficial for conditions such as Asthma and COPD, to name a few.

We'll look at lung anatomy and a few other structures of breathing, and take that knowledge into explorations and hands-on work.

Combining Biodynamic with Biomechanical

Interwoven throughout the weekend, we will address the combining of Biodynamic and Biomechanical approaches in CST; the whens, hows, and whys. We will also spend some time discussing what you may be feeling in the work and perhaps differentiating indicators and patterns... "Oh, that's what that is!?"
