Anatomy does not have to be daunting! I love anatomy and I love seeing students transition from fear or overwhelm of the topic to finding their own genuine interest.
This enjoyable, accessible, and applicable workshop is for beginning practitioners as well as experienced practitioners seeking a more thorough understanding of craniosacral anatomy. Experienced practitioners can make new discoveries about familiar structures. All will appreciate those "Aha, Now I get it !" moments.
We will take our time exploring structures, functions, and systems from multiple vantage points: viewing images and dissection videos, handling 3-D models and real bones, and lecture followed by clarifying discussions. You'll embody the learning through movement explorations, guided visualizations, palpation, and hands-on sessions, offering something for all learning styles and giving a full and rich experience.
This workshop provides practical take-aways for therapists from all craniosacral traditions and levels. It offers context to clearly understand why we do what we do.
You'll gain new insights into the spatial relationships of structures, functions, and systems including:
When we grasp particulars of anatomy and structure our understanding of function and dysfunction quickly follows. When we have felt sense and embodied experiences... all the better!
I invite you to come learn, play, explore, and deepen!
This is a small group class - early registration is recommended.
